Practitioner:  Geological Models

Practitioner: designed to support Mining Engineers with 3-7 years of professional experience to build job-ready knowledge and technical skills.

In this practitioner level course, we will build on what we learned in Geology Essentials for Mining Engineers, and study geological models in more detail, from the component parts of a model to estimation techniques. We will explore how to validate a block model and scrutinise it in different formats, and how to make simple adjustments to a block model to streamline mine design work processes.
